The first HR Café was organized on 23-24 July 2008 at The Orchid Hotel, Mumbai. Beyond doubt, this was a conclave with a difference – all-inclusive interactivity, cross-exchange of ideas, intense discussions and presentations. The forum successfully tapped into the collective knowledge and experience of delegates. They actively participated in deciphering concerns and evolving practical, ready-to-use solutions.
Our original suspicion about the banality of lecture downloads stood confirmed.

The conclave saw participation from some of the biggest names in the world of media & entertainment and retail industries – Sony Entertainment, UTV, Saregama, Radio Mirchi, Zoom, INX, Mobius Films, Tata Sky, Adfactors PR, Trent, Café Coffee Day, Subhiksha, @home, H&A Stores, Raheja’s Retail, Jini & Jony among others. They were also joined by academicians, consultants and students from B-Schools to bring multiple perspectives to the entire discussion. The feedback received from delegates was excellent.

White Papers

A core group has been formed to collate transcripts of the sessions, cluster the issues/ solutions generated during the course of the HR Café and prepare white papers for the industry verticals. The data collected has been subjected to analysts adept at watching HR currents in the industry to further add value in terms of knowledge and applicability.
